The silo net is designed for silage protection and storage. Woven from 100% virgin HDPE with UV stabilizer, it protects harvested silage and the underlying silage film from livestock, wild animals and weather damage.
Used together with silage film and filled silo gravel bags, the net forms a stable covering system that helps isolate air and support anaerobic fermentation and long-term preservation.

What is an HDPE silo net used for?
A silo net covers and protects the silage film from birds, livestock, hail, wind, and handling damage. Used with silage film and filled gravel bags, it forms a stable covering system for bunker silos and silage piles.
What material is the silo net made from and how long can it be used?
The net is woven from virgin HDPE with UV stabilizer for outdoor use. Under suitable installation, cleaning, and storage conditions, it is designed for repeated seasonal use and can provide a service life of at least five years.
What standard silo-net sizes are available?
The product is available in 200-300 g/m2 grades, common widths around 4-6 m, and lengths selected from standard pieces or rolls up to 100 m. Green and black are common colors; size, packing, color, and logo can be discussed.
How are silo net and gravel bags installed together?
Lay the silage film first and cover the complete surface with the silo net. Then place filled gravel bags along the perimeter, film overlaps, net joints, transition points, and feed-out edge so wind cannot lift the covering system.
Can silo net be reused and how should it be stored?
Yes. Remove it carefully without dragging it over sharp edges, clean and dry it after the season, repair or isolate damaged areas, fold it neatly, and store it in a dry place away from sunlight and rodents.
Can the net size, weight, color, and logo be customized?
Yes. OEM and ODM options include dimensions, mass per unit area, color, edge finishing, packing, and logo marking, subject to order quantity and production confirmation.
What material should we fill in the gravel bags? Should we fill them full?
We recommend 6–10mm round gravel or clean river sand. Do not fill fully. Leave 1/3 space to keep the bag soft and fit closely on the ground for better sealing.
Why use gravel bags instead of waste tires?
① No steel wire risk to avoid livestock injury; ② No water pooling, no mosquito or mold breeding; ③ Flat placement for better airtight sealing; ④ Foldable, reusable and cost-effective.
What is the MOQ and production lead time?
MOQ: 1000pcs for gravel bags, 1 roll for silo net. Standard lead time is 20–30 working days. Trial orders and rush orders are acceptable.
